After reading In a Dark, Dark Wood (reviewed here), I knew I had to read Ruth Ware’s latest novel, The Woman in Cabin 10. While I really liked In a Dark, Dark Wood, I was totally hooked to The Woman in Cabin 10. The plot follows a young travel journalist, Lo, who is given the assignment to write about a new luxury cruise ship. After Lo boards the ship, she witnesses a woman in the cabin next to her being thrown overboard. The only problem is that no one believes there was a woman ever staying in that cabin and she is assured that all of the passengers are accounted for. As Lo searches for answers, she realizes the murderer will do anything to keep her from uncovering the truth, including making her their next target.
If you’re a fan of thrillers, this is a great book to check out. The author does an excellent job of building suspense and keeps you guessing right until the very end.
